i was able to spend my tuesday afternoon fruitfully with the young volunteers of
Bikolanong Totoo. these kids have been conducting feeding programs at centro every month and i was invited by
Anjie to join them on their 6th feeding (holy week special). --- :)

going back, the group stationed at plaza quince martires. siguradong nabusog si lola jabee (yung lola na nasa jollibee), si lolo, ate, kuya, at iba pang pamilya na pumunta sa quince martires. :D

after the feeding and cliniquing, i still joined anjie, ces, nikki, and Sir JC at Sta. Rafaela to work on BT's second project. there i heard the successful and inspiring stories of the kids of sta. rafaela. of course, BT was there to open a new story. they will be sponsoring one of the scholars, again, by shelling out a portion of their baon. (ang galing-galing! -galing sa isang taong hindi binibigyan ng baon :P)
the day was really something to be thankful for. aside from waking up when Ma'am Janet appeared in my dream (???) and being accepted in the OJT program of coke, i felt manoy's presence because of these people. witnessing their great deeds made me stop and reflect how manoy touches you in so many ways kahit na minsan parang joke lang kasi out of the blue kung magparamdam. i was smiling throughout the afternoon. i can still remember the mother superior at sta. rafaela smiling back at me and her smile was really something something. and seeing these young volunteers doing something big at a very young age made me wish to stay more in college - stay because i want to make up sa buhay volunteer ko and stay because i want to see these kids grow more in volunteerism. nakakahanga sila. :)

ready for the 7th feeding :) |
and as my way na rin of saying
"thank you" for a fruitful tuesday, i volunteered to wash the utensils that were used in the feeding program. (nakalibre si lester!haha) nag-volunteer ako kasi may pinapahiwatig si Papa Lord. another sacrifice ko na 'to ngayong holy week. and i really want to wash them because of
the thought na hindi ako / kami ang gumagamit ng utensils kundi yung limamput limang taong nabibiyayaan ng pansit at juice kada buwan ng feeding program. so i washed them with a happy and thankful heart and ngayon, they're all packed
with love. jeje :)

Padagos lang, Bikolanong Totoo! |
So DIOS MABALOS, BIKOLANONG TOTOO! Salamat Anjie for inviting me in your 6th feeding. Also to Ces, Nikki, Lester, TJ, Pheobe, and the rest of the BT people for making my tuesday really fruitful. I do wish you luck on your program. Ngayon palang CONGRATS and GUJAB na! Sana hindi kayo mapagod at magsawa cause only few people are given the opportunity to touch lives (borrowing Ate Nikki's words) and yesterday, you've touched mine. Thank you. :)
P.S.
I you want to help these young volunteers in their feeding program and their student sponsorship project at Sta. Rafaela, feel free to visit this page - click here! or message anjie na rin:D You can donate your 5 pesos, 10 pesos, 20 pesos, or even sacrifice your refreshing coke or cellphone load to provide a meal for a kid of sta. rafaela. :)
